Haiti One Year Later

Hope still abounds in Haiti one year after the devastating earthquake as PWS&D works through the ACT Alliance, Canadian Foodgrains Bank and Canadian Churches in Action to help Haitians rebuild their homes and livelihoods, and provide food, clean water, art therapy programs, support for people living with disabilities and semi-permanent classrooms for children.

As a congregation we raised over $1000.00 for Haiti relief. With Government of Canada matching grants that became more than $2000.00 While the problems are still huge in Haiti , there is also good work being done there. We work with local church groups and bypass most of the bureaucracy to deliver directly to the people in need.
